Asus has confirmed to PCMag that the Asus notebook pc (which is a sub-brand of the Nitro series) is the only one of its new notebooks that will ship with an Intel Core i5 processor.
The Nitro 4G and Nitro 6G are the other notebooks with Intel Core CPUs, but the company has yet to say what the Core i7-powered Nitro 3G is all about.
We’ve heard that Intel is working on new processors with a 7th generation Core architecture, so this could be the first Intel Core 7 series processor to ship with a full Intel Core architecture.
We have yet to get our hands on a Core i3 or Core i4-based notebook pc from Asus, but we’ve heard the company will introduce more Core i6 models and Core i8 models in the near future.
If you can buy an Asus notebook with an Core i9 processor, you can also buy a Core m5 processor and an Intel i5-based Core i5500, according to a recent TechRadar article.
Asus will also be releasing its own Core i1-series notebook pc this year, but its only announced at this time.
The company has previously revealed a new tablet and a tablet with a 5K screen, but this is the first time we know about the company’s Core i11 tablet.
We asked Asus for an update on the availability of its Nitro laptops, but so far the company hasn’t responded.
