The ‘Super Boy’ reboot starring Danny Trejo is one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and that’s only because it’s based on the Archie Comics characters.
But Amazon Prime Video (AMZN) has just announced that it will be offering its exclusive video streaming service for the Super Bowl.
It’s part of an effort to make the NFL game the best ever and provide fans with a greater choice in streaming content.
The first episode of the Super Boy film is available now for $9.99, with the second episode set to hit Amazon Video on March 2.
The first episode includes new footage from the film, as well as footage from its opening scene.
Amazon Prime will also be giving fans the chance to watch episodes three through five of the film in its original order.
The series will also feature two brand new episodes that will air on Monday nights at 11:30pm ET/PT.
Amazon Prime Video is offering a selection of movies that are only available on the service.
They include:”Archie’s Secret” (1991), starring Danny Woodring as Archie Andrews, “The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across America” (2005), starring Eddie Murphy, “Super Boy” (2013), starring Mattel and Mattel’s Chuck Jones, and “The Flash” (2014), starring Ezra Miller.
In addition to these movies, the Super Bundle includes the full season of the CW superhero series “The 100,” which will be available exclusively on Amazon Video.
It is currently streaming for $14.99 per month.
