Asus is launching a 4K desktop monitor for its $2.999 Prime Z series, which includes a 5.1-inch curved-ish panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2TB SSD, and an Intel Core i7 processor.
That’s for the Core i5 model, which comes with 8GB of RAM.
There’s a 128GB SSD option for $2 more, and a 256GB option for an extra $1,000.
Asus says the Prime Z5 is the only 4K display available at this price point, and it has the latest graphics capabilities from Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1080 Ti.
It’s available in 16 and 32-bit colors, and the display has a 5,200:1 aspect ratio.
The Z5 has a 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixels rear-facing camera, and dual-LED flash, which Asus says can capture 720p video.
The Prime Z7 will cost $2 and $2 per month, and Asus says it will be available on April 24.
